Day Two (2): - Saturday 16th May, 2020
Sunrise: 6:05 am - Sunset: 5:43 pm - Moonrise 12:59 am - Moonset - 1:38 pm
Sleep in!
Option - Swim / Dive in Town / Visit local Bakery
9:30 am - Drive to Dales - Terrific photo opportunities with large Coconut Crabs / Red Crabs and Waterfalls
Midday - Lunch supplied at Martin Point
O/C - Return to Town - Swim in Caves
6:00 pm - Dinner at the ‘Lodge’ - Food bought in, so we don’t get caught waiting to get to the movies!
7:30 pm - Movies at the Outdoor Theatre - LINK to the Theatre’s Website
Day Three (3): - Sunday 17th May, 2020
Sunrise: 6:05 am - Sunset: 5:42 pm - Moonrise 1:45 am - Moonset - 2:16 pm
5:30 am - Up for a Sunrise shot at Lilly & Effel Beaches - Short Drive
7:30 am - Breakfast at Poon Saan Coffee Shop (sells great value local food - Thai / Malay Style) - pay your own
O/C - back into town - consider a dive in Flying Fish Cove - Shower up
10:30 am - visit to the Wildlife Sanctuary - see birds in captivity and be educated on the amazing migratory birds. A great opportunity to photograph these amazing birds close up and gain a good understanding about other challenges faced by the wildlife team on Christmas Island.
O/C - back into town - Lunch - do your own thing
1:30 pm - Visit the ‘Pink House’ - see and help out at the Nature house - Then visit the Blowholes
4:30 pm - off to Sunset Drinks and Dinner at South Point / or alternate point depending on weather and updates to facilities currently undergoing - Paid.
Day Four (4): - Monday 18th May, 2020
Sunrise: 6:08 am - Sunset: 5:42 pm - Moonrise 2:30 am - Moonset - 1:40 pm
7:30 am - Breakfast at ‘The Lodge’ - Cereals - Toast etc
8:30 am - Drive to Dolly Beach - Robber Crab and Scenery Photo Opportunities - A long board-walk - so be prepared for a good workout!
Take Water / Snacks
12:30 pm - Lunch back at the ‘Lodge’ - Sandwiches - Check Photos
O/C - Relax - Own time -
6:00 pm - Dinner at either the Ramah Tinggi Tavern or the Bosun Tavern - Pay your own
Day One (1): - Friday, 15th May, 2020 - Christmas Islands
Sunrise: 6:05 am - Sunset: 5:43 pm - Moonrise - 12:11 am - Moonset - 12:58 pm
Depart Perth International Airport - VA1913 - 6:35 am - be at Airport at 4:35 am
Arrive Christmas Island - 12:30 pm (clocks retarded 30 mins)
Pickup Hire 4x4’s from Airport - Drive to Accommodation
3:00 - 5:00 pm - Visit ‘Down-Town’ - Drive up to Lookout.
6:30 pm - Chinese Combo Dinner at the ‘Lodge’ - Buy in
7:00 pm - Presentation by Kirsty Faulkner - Amazing Photographer at Christmas Island - LINK to Kirsty’s website
Note: You are allowed 1 x 23kg Checked Bag, and 1 x 7kg Carry-on Bag. Alcohol is Duty Free in Cocos / Christmas Islands, however the freight adds to price. Consider the prices slightly cheaper than Australia.

Sunrise: 6:05 am - Sunset: 5:42 pm - Moonrise 3:14 am - Moonset - 3:30 pm
7:30 am - Breakfast at Poon Saan Coffee Shop (sells great value local food - Thai / Malay Style) - pay your own
8:30 am - Drive to overlook Golf Course - Bird and Scenery Photo Opportunities
O/C - back into town - consider a dive in Flying Fish Cove - Shower up - Check out
12:00 pm - Check out of Lodgings - take all to ‘The Lodge’
12:30 pm - Lunch on the Strip - or at the ‘Lodge’
2:15 pm - Head to Airport - Via Shops to purchase Duty Free Alcohol (cheaper than AUS Duty Free and Cocos Keeling Islands)
4:35 pm - Flight Departs for Cocos Keeling Islands - Arrives: 5:40pm
